Beauty is more than just pretty looks. It's also about taking good care of yourself, both inside and out.

Today, I want to share some useful tips with you.

1 Eat healthy foods like fish, fresh fruit, and vegetables. Drink at least eight glasses of water per day. Eat foods with essential fatty acids in them like salmon, walnuts, and flax seed. You can maintain beautiful skin from the inside by including in your diet healthy fats (like olive oil), omega 3s (found in walnuts and salmon), antioxidants (greens), and vitamin C (berries and citrus fruits).

2 Get plenty of fresh air. Find a way to exercise your body that suits you. Take dance lessons if you like, ballet is especially good because it works all the muscles in the body, especially the abdominal muscles.

3 Get at least 8 hours of sleep each night.

4 Never wash your face with hot water. It makes it dry. Always use luke-warm or cold water which energizes your skin and makes it rosier, giving it a blushing effect.

5 Always wash your face and remove any makeup before going to bed.

6 Take good care of your hair. Always keep your hair brushed. Use a quality shampoo and conditioner.

7 Brush your teeth and maintain good dental hygiene to have a bright smile.

8 Moisturize your body, particularly your hands. It will prevent your skin from dryingout, especially during the winter.

9 Use adequate sun protection.

10 Maintain a good posture. Keep your chin up. Keep your head balanced on your shoulders. Some studies say that standing in a power pose for 5 minutes every day can help you feel more confident. Stand up straight when you walk, or sit and take your space. Don't cross your arms across your chest (typically a defensive gesture).

11 Smile. Be confident. If you aren't, then try to be. Try some psychological training and tell yourself regularly that you are beautiful. Take a good photo of yourself, there is nothing like a good photo to help you increase your self-esteem and make you feel better about yourself!

12 Don't judge yourself. Don't judge others. The things you think about other people reflect on how you think about yourself and what kind of person you are. Instead of having negative thoughts and words towards other people, try to find something positive about them.  

13 Believe that you are naturally beautiful. Be yourself.

14 Be nice and kind to everyone. Do nice and helpful things for people without expecting anything in return. You want to be beautiful on the outside but on the inside too.

15 Treat yourself as you would treat your best friend and don't forget to take time for yourself.
