This week I would like to share with  you some tips and useful links to relax and take time for yourself:

Every day spend some moments in silence.

Imagine a calm and relaxing scene in your mind.

Connect yourself with your emotions.

Don't judge yourself but observe what you feel and let go.

Breathe, breathe and breathe.

Write a journal, write everything down that’s going through your mind.
Don't worry about the spelling mistakes or grammar. Write your thoughts, fears or some amazing moments in your life you love to remember.

Read an interesting book. Here you can find some advice:

  • Brown, B. The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You're Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are.
  • Cheryl Richardson, The Art of Extreme-self-care: Transform your life one month at a time.
  • Twyla Tharp, The creative Habit.
  • Marjorie Hansen Shaevitz, The Confident Woman: how to take charge and recharge your life.

Follow the on-line course by Susannah Convey called "The Sacred Alone."
She is very inspiring, and her course can help you to live your moments of solitude better.

Have fun with your inner child: paint, draw or colour. Follow Alisa Burke’s on-line courses. The courses are amazing and very creative. She shares creativity, tutorials, and inspiration. She is really engaging!

Through dance you sense her feelings. She is wonderful.

If you love animals go to this website:
You can see how some pandas at San Diego Zoo live. They are very funny and cute.

Stretch your arms and your legs. Rotate your ankles. Turn your head gently to each side, up and down to stretch and relax your neck and release tension.

If your house is in the country, look out of the window.
Take a five-minute break to do nothing but stare out of the window, even just looking at scenes like trees and public parks can be relaxing.

Lie on your bed or sofa. Play some soft music or nature CDs. Relax by listening to ocean waves, waterfalls or birds.

Have a great relaxing moment!
