This Easter, I Sat with My Solitude
If You’re Feeling Alone Today, This Is for You.
If You’re Feeling Alone Today, This Is for You.
Today, if you are alone or feeling lonely, I understand how you feel.
I sense a little sadness, a spark of solitude, and a slight emptiness in my stomach.
I can feel the silence around me, sense the lingering scent of tears, and hear my own thoughts.
I have recently made some changes in my life, and today I'm spending Easter alone.
I crave the silence that allows me to truly grasp the meaning of Easter: to die and be reborn.
I can see my fears and weaknesses, along with a longing to connect with someone who understands this experience.
I grapple with the fears of my emotions during difficult times, and the vulnerability of my inner child, who struggles to know what it means to be loved deeply and sanely.
Do you also feel a strange sensation in your stomach?
Do you sense that solitude?
If you do, know that you are not alone. I’m with you.
We can learn to accept ourselves fully, embracing every part of who we are.
We can choose ourselves, and it's so important that we do.
Today, we acknowledge our struggles and embrace rebirth. We can heal together.
There is no destination; it's a journey. One that begins with taking genuine care of ourselves, completely and deeply, in every moment of our day.
We should celebrate this love for ourselves by doing what we love, spending the day nurturing our bodies, souls, and minds.
We can cry, breathe, and listen to every emotion within us.
We can expand our feelings through writing, feel the pain, and then let it go with deep breaths.
We can explore gentle stretches for our bodies or treat ourselves to a soothing massage, surrounded by beautiful scents.
We can dive into a meaningful book that inspires us or makes us feel understood.
Remember, you deserve this care and kindness, both from yourself and others.
It’s time to be reborn. Today.
So let today be the soft beginning.
Not a loud transformation, but a quiet return to yourself.
Not a perfect day, but a real one.
You are not broken, you are becoming.
You are not alone, you are part of something shared, even in silence.
Even in solitude, there is connection.
Even in sadness, there is truth.
Even in stillness, there is growth.
And from this moment, gentle and real, a new part of you begins.
Happy Easter, may this day bring you back to your heart.
And may you carry that warmth forward, one breath at a time.
